Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan, Thailand

Some time ago, a group of tourists found that the most beautiful moon was in Koh Phangan. They arranged a party along the crescent-shaped beach of Haad Rin to celebrate the Full Moon night. From then on, people from all over the world come to join the celebration

And now there are 7,000-10,000 people at the party each month. The party begins at dusk, When the round yellow moon makes its appearance over the white sand beach. In twilight, small tables are lined up on the beach and thousands of lamps are lit

As the evening progresses the beach explodes into a dancing frenzy as different m.c.'s take their furn on the decks. There is something for everyone here, trance, techno, drum and bass, commercial dance and reggae, no-one is disappointed. Jugglers and fire-eaters entertain the crowds as the night goes on and with the brilliant impromptu fireworks display, the party atmosphere is complete. After a few hours it could be time to chill-out for a while, maybe grab a drink or a bite to eat from one of the many beach traders and wade out or sit down in the warm surf of the Gulf of Thailand, pure, pure heaven.

Revived and relaxed it's time to return to the main beach and get blown into another dancing dimension, While all around people are doing the same, there are no barriers here, no inhibitions, just people enjoying themselves with one unified intention, to rejoice in the magic that is the paradise Of FULL MOON PARTY!

Krabi is one of southern Thailand's most attractive provinces. It is 814 kilometres from Bangkok by Highway No.4 and is located 90 km to the southeast of Phang-nga and 180 km east of Phuket, covering an area of 4,708 sq.km. Phuket FantaSea, Phuket Thailand

Costing 3,500 million Baht, Phuket FantaSea is certainly one of Phuket’s most interesting theme parks and has quickly become a tourist destination in its own right. Promising to be the ‘ultimate in nighttime entertainment on Phuket’, Phuket FantaSea is a ‘Las Vegas-style’ show ‘inspired by Thailand’s rich and exotic heritage’. A curious combination of high-technology, pyrotechnics, and tales of times gone by, the 140-acre site houses a number of attractions exploring Thailand’s myths, legends and history. Visitors are treated to battle reenactments, magicians who make elephants fly and disappear, ‘big show’ song and dance numbers, and aerial ballet. The Palace of the Elephants, 3000-seat theatre is of particular interest.

Turing Thai history and culture into a show of such a grand scale was an ambitious project that could have easily turned into historical ‘kitsch’. However, they have done well in making the whole thing credible. The site also offers handicrafts and shopping alongside a number of first rate restaurants. If you are in Phuket, it is well worth spending an evening here.

Temple : Wat Chalong, Phukat Thailand

The most famous and most beautiful of the 29 temples in Phuket is Wat Chalong, or Chai Tarara. If you like to visit temples, then this one is a must. It is said that if you haven't seen Wat Chalong, you haven't seen Phuket.

In the Sermon Hall there are statues of Luang Po Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang, two highly revered monks who, in 1876 led the people of Phuket to fight against the influx of immigrant Chinese who came to take the city and the island's tin mining until the government sent troops to defeat them.

The King then bestowed Luang Po Chaem the ecclesiastical title of Phra Kru Wisit Wongsacharn. This temple also houses a tooth of a Buddha which came from Sri Lanka. You will find it inside a large glass balloon which sits on a base of marble, shaped like a Lotus flower. When visiting the temple, please be sure to observe the rules of dress and behaviour. Dress: No bare shoulders, stomachs or legs. Remove your shoes before entering any of the buildings. Behaviour: Do not pose with Buddha. Do not shout or swear. Do not point at anything with your feet, particularly towards any statues of Buddha. Be respectful at all times, this is a sacred place.

Songkran Festival, Phuket Thailand

Songkran Festival is the traditional Thai New Year celebrated on April 13th. Families and friends gather to celebrate by visiting temples, sprinkling water on Buddha images in reverence, and sprinkling water on each other's hands as an act of wishing good luck.

In recent years, the tradition of sprinkling water has been interpreted by youngsters as a great excuse for a water fight, and it is not uncommon to have buckets and containers of water thrown at you by teams of merry makers in the backs of trucks as you make your way down the street - particularly in major tourist areas like Patong. Small children delight in equipping themselves with water guns and spraying anyone who comes in their path - no one is exempt!

Note that every year, most hotels are full early during that period as many Thai People get long holidays and fly or drive to spend time with families.

Promthep cape, Phuket Thailand

Promthep Cape is the southern-most point of Phuket Island, Thailand. It is a famous landmark of Phuket. Always attract travelers at sunset escpecially on the clear sky day. The point where the sun is last seen in Thailand.

It is a simple rocky hill with no immediate interest. However, this is the most southerly point on the island at it is sunsets and views of Phuket’s southern coast you are here for! A flight of steps leads to the top of Promthep Cape and from there you have an excellent view of the “half-moon” bay housing Nai Harn Beach. The site also has a lighthouse with an observation level. From the observation level, the views are even better! This is the ultimate spot to watch the sun setting over the water. The colours the sunsets produce are extremely rich and seem to permeate the air around you! If you have time, try to make a sunset – it’s well worth the effort.

Patong beach, Phuket Thailand

Patong Beach (Thai : หาดป่าตอง) is a beach on Phuket's west coast, and to the town adjoining it. It is the main tourist resort in Phuket. It also contains an important centre of Phuket's nightlife and is the centre of cheap shopping on the island. The beach became popular with western tourists, especially Europeans, in the late 1980s. Numerous large hotels and chain hotels are located in Patong.

When you get to patong beach, besite sunburn, you also had a chance to see the whole area with doing windsurfing. The cost to do that is around THB800, but you still can nagociate for the price. They will take you for the windsurfing for 10 mins to see the whole beach area from the sky. It must be awesome to see the whole area from the sky.

When the time pass by you don't realised it. The people around the beach getting less and less, and you also can see people just walk around the beach area for everning excersize, or jogging at the beach.

Patong Beach is more famous for its nightlife than the 2-kilometer beach that runs the entire length of Patong Town’s western side. Nightlife is centered on two main areas Bangla Road and Paradise Complex, with Bangla Road being predominantly straight and Paradise Complex being predominantly gay. Much mixing of the two scenes occurs due to Phuket Island’s tolerant nature, with Kathoey present on Bangla Road.
